Home to some of the most magnificent views of Okanagan Lake, Naramata lies on beautiful benchlands to the north of Penticton. As with many Okanagan towns and villages, Naramata’s start in the early 1900s was also based around agriculture – mostly fruit orchards. Today, the drive to Naramata will take you past some of Canada’s most renowned wineries and several up-and-coming distilleries. This quaint village offers a variety of amenities and services, shops, eateries, well maintained parks and a branch of the Okanagan Regional Library. A journey into the nearby mountain landscapes or down to the water’s edge offers the start of endless adventures: biking the Kettle Valley Railway trail to explore the tunnels and trestles, fishing at Chute Lake, paddleboarding, sailing…the list goes on. Children living in this catchment area attend Naramata Elementary School which offers programming for Kindergarten through Grade 5 as well as before and after school care.
Perched on the bench among the vineyards, nestled in the historic village or set upon the water’s edge– a home anywhere in Naramata is the pride and joy for all who call it home.
